Joseph feeds Isaac

There is a cute movie at the bottom.
I was making dinner and was trying to keep Joseph occupied. So I told him to wash the baby bottles. He turned on the water and got the bottle brush and washed for a long time. When I wasn't looking, he got one and put some formula in it. He then put a nipple on and started to shake it. It spilled everywhere so I tightened it. He then put his finger over the hole(like me) so it wouldn't spill out when he shook. He shook it for a long long time as he walked around the room. I wasn't sure what his intentions were. Finally he went over to Isaac and stuck it in his mouth. (It was mostly water) Joseph said "Don't be scared Isaac" Isaac didn't drink it but just chewed on it. They sat there for a long time like that. What cute brothers!

So Joseph had a huge "Elimination Fest" on the deck yesterday. Yeah, I'm pretty sure he emptied every drop out of his bladder and bowels. Little bugger. We hosed down the deck and his bottom. He thought that part was real funny. To those of you who think he is ready for potty training, you are more than welcome to come try it. He loves going potty! He just doesn't see the need to do it more than 2 or 3 times a week!

Other cute things. When Joseph falls down (usually on purpose), if I don't say anything, He says to himself, "Are you ok? What happened? What's the matter?" Funny kid.

He also likes to try and make Isaac smile and says, "I smile you?!"

Isaac is almost sleeping through the night!! woo hoo! He usually wakes at 4 or 5 am needing his binky or gets shushed back to sleep! Victory!! He is smiling a ton now and even laughs. His first word is "oh". He is huge! 25 inches and 13 lbs. We just grow 'em big at our house I guess!

There is no customer of the week, although Dave's dad is planning a stab at it. Speaking of that, Don't your kids need gifts for their teachers? How about a car candle ($3) or a room spray($8)? Everybody likes Scentsy! Don't you want your kids' teachers to like them best? And give them good grades and more recess time? I'll hook you up at www.scentsy.com/serenitynow

I'm just sayin'.

My new customer of the week is Heather Kartchner. She is Dave's awesome cousin! My new favorite probably. Sorry Robin.

Our latest news. Isaac slept 9 hours the other night! We were so proud; he's on his way to sleeping through the night, but hasn't done it again. He is smiling like crazy and we should get a court date for finalization real soon! We are planning on having him sealed to us in the Portland Temple near Thanksgiving. Our parents will be coming up and we'll spend the holiday with them and cousin Robin and her folks. Super fun!!

Joseph is taking a music class every wednesday for an hour. He loves it and the main thing is, he doesn't cry when I leave...A HUGE miracle! The only trouble is that there is this wonderful garden/nursery just down the road from his class....so...music class might end up costing a little more than we thought!

So, Joseph has been eating a lot of Shredded Wheat and when it comes out, if it doesn't turn to powder, it's a fine grit that sticks to his bum and wipes just don't cut it! This is the song I made up while trying to wash it off.

"How do we get the cereal off your bum?
How do we get the cereal off your bum?
I don't know, oh I don't know.
How do we get the cereal off your bum?"

The cutest boys in the world

I've noticed that all our pics of our kids. Oh well. So, Joseph had created a new definition for poop-deck. He goes out on our deck, takes all his clothes off(including diaper) and poops. All I have to say is urrrrgh. Does this mean he's ready for potty training?
So, apparently I don't know how to make words go under the pictures. I may or may not figure it out! That's just how it is sometimes.
I just want to close by saying that my new favorite customer is Ina Overson. (Sorry mom-in-law. I still love you to pieces) Ina is Sister O. She was a companion of mine from my mission! Maybe I'll just have a customer of the week and then won't you all be trying to win!! Ha! You too can appear on Jo's blog! Who knows?
p.s. I learned how to link! Click on them and see!

I've gone the way of many a good stay-at-home mom.....that's right, I'm....

SELLING STUFF!

I have discovered a new product called Scentsy Warmers. What is It?
It's the hottest new thing in candles! Unique Scentsy Warmers use a 25-watt bulb to melt the wax slowly, maximizing the fragrance time of the Scentsy Bar or Brick. Plug it in, turn it on, place one or more sections of your Scentsy Bar into the dish and enjoy the Scentsy feeling!
Now this is Jo speaking, so here's my practical approach to this. Let me give you....

Jo's Top 5 Reasons To Buy Scentsy

1. SCENTS-Everyone wants their house to smell good! (I mean really, right now my house smells like poop and baby spit-up)

2.SAFE-There is no flame or wick, and the melted wax doesn't get hot enough to burn you. (Believe me, I tried it!)
3.SMART- You won't be breathing in smoke, soot, or lead from wicks. (And after 5 years in Rochester, we know about lead.)

4.SELECTION-There are over 80 Scentsy bars and 50 ceramic warmers to choose from. (Like Cranberry Spice, Fried Ice Cream, and Sweet Pea & Vanilla!)

5.CENTS-They're a good deal! Each $5 Scentsy bar lasts 60-80 hours; as long as a quality 12 oz. jar candle. (You know how frugal I am!)

Check out my website for more. You're gonna love it!

This is my first blog post ever!

I'm so technically-oriented now, wouldn't you say? Dave says I should try posting a picture or a movie. Ok. Here we go.
Wow! I did it! Now I'll try the movie of Isaac riding horseback on Joseph.
I hope this works!!!!!!!! Thanks for looking at my cute kids!

Joseph is very serious about water safety. Isaac is becoming a real person! He follows with his eyes when we walk around the room and he smiles quite a bit. We are monitoring his growth carefully.

Also, here is a cute picture of Joseph and Isaac and Talmage and Sydney together. They love each other. Joseph is always asking to hold Isaac now, and now that Isaac is able to control his head a little better, we have been more willing to let him.
